Welcome. A New Chapter is beginning!

The Shop is relocating!  It's a BIG relocation.  That's the good news :)
However, while the shop is relocating, production will be paused,

as such, no orders are being taken at this time.

MODELS & OPTIONS

At this time I offer three chassis models, and three "stocked" cabinet options: A small combo with an 8" driver, a large combo with a 12" driver, and a head-only cabinet. Custom cabinet configurations and custom circuit modifications are also available on a per-order basis. Speaker and tube options will also be discussed upon initial consultation.   PRICES VARY PER EXACT CONFIGURATION

The MK1 A1 Chassis

Not a modern tube in this gal

This design is right out of the 1940's. With one sub-miniature and one octal pre-amp tube, it is by far the most "vintage" sounding amp. Perfect for blues on small stages, or for delivering lots of tube goodness at very manageable volumes. The pair of cathode biased 25L6 output tubes are running at or near class-A operation and develops about 10-watts RMS.

The MK1 B1 Chassis

Bridging the gap

This design retains the cathode-biased 25L6's in the power stage, but moves towards "modern" pre-amp tubes, giving it more of a classic early tweed tone; still lots of VERY vintage goo, but with a more refined pre-amp stage and a smoother driven tone.

The MK1 C1 Chassis

The Flagship

This is the design I stumbled on to that just flat rocked my world.  For the whole story, read the "About" page. This is the model that replaced ALL my vintage Fenders as my "Desert Island" Amp.  Amazing touch-sensitivity, fat & juicy, to die for tone that is amazingly rewarding at any volume.  The cathode-biased 6V6's run at or near class-A operation delivering about 20-watts RMS.

The "small" combo

Shock your friends

The "large" combo

Rocks your world in a new-old-fashioned way

The "head-only" cabinet

Someone's gonna want one, right?

This combo cabinet is similar to a narrow-panel tweed Champ, however mine is about 1" larger all the way around, the exact dimensions were chosen to REALLY make the most out of a superior quality 8" driver.  The only driver offered in this cabinet is the WGS G8C.  No other 8" driver holds a candle to this speaker, and no other 1x8 combo hold a candle to this one, either!  It looks a bit like a tweed Champ, but sounds SOOO much bigger!

ABOUT MY CABINETS

They really are quite different

This combo is similar in size and design to a narrow-panel tweed Deluxe; but again it is slightly oversized and optimised to bring out the very best in top-shelf 12" drivers.  The drivers I like best in this cabinet are the WGS Blackhawk Alnico for my "C" chassis, and the Black & Blue Alnico for my "A" & "B" chassis.  No better Alnico speakers have EVER been manufactured.

The WGS Ceramic ET-90 is a close second-place finisher, and the VERY vintage voiced WGS G12Q is an excellent lightweight driver for these cabinets, downright magical, in fact.

Okay, I might as well say it ... I didn't really want to offer this one. I REALLY, REALLY feel as though the overall tone of an amp is a result of the symbiotic relationship between ALL the components ... and the speaker and the cabinet the speaker is mounted in are a HUGE part of that relationship. So, I kinda hate to relinquish the control over the speaker and cab, but hey, folks are going to want one, right?

Like all my cabs, these look cool as all get-out, but darn it ... don't go and hook the thing up to some crappy sounding and/or ugly speaker cabinet, deal?

All my cabinets are made of finger jointed pine cabinets using superior grade woods smaller than average fingers and are dramaticly accented with walnut (usually the top & bottom facia).

Not covering the cabinets in a tolex type material not only looks great, but sounds quite superior as well.

All amps include a superior-quality custom sewed slip-cover.  Superior quality custom ATA road-cases are also available

Custom cabinet builds are a possability.  Don't be afraid to ask.
